S.A.N.D. Rescue
(Saving Abandoned & Neglected Dogs)
Our Featured Pets...
Hilda is approximately 2 years old. She is very energetic so she needs a home with adults or children over 10 years old. She is also housebroken and crate trained. She sees cats as the ultimate chase toys. Due to this we prefer her to be in a home without cats.
Hilda is making improvements on walking on a leash and she is getting along better with the other dogs.
A fenced in yard is required for this beautiful girl. Her adoption fee is $150.
Tex is a sweet heart! He has litter mates to play with, but he would rather follow you around on his tiny little legs. What a cutie!
Would you want him to be your very own little shadow?
Inside cat only. Tex's adoption fee is $75.

Who We Are
Adopting a friend
All potential adopters are asked to complete an adoption application in full. If any question is left unanswered, the application will be automatically rejected. An application can be E-mailed upon request to lplessing@aol.com.
If your application is approved, a home visit will be scheduled. A home visit is just to bring the pet over to see how they do with everyone in the family. All who lives there must be at this appointment. If you are a great distance from us we will make arrangements for someone closer to you to do the home visit for us.
You will have to sign a contract once you have been approved for adoption. This contract is binding and we do follow up at a later date to check on the adopted pet.
All adoption fees vary. It is based on the medical treatment that is needed for each particular dog or cat.
The adoption fee helps to cover the cost of annual shots, spaying/neutering, fecal and heartworm tests, heartworm and flea preventative, transportation, training, supplies, and other related expenses. The fee also helps us help other dogs and cats from being euthanized at pounds.
We DO NOT ship our dogs and cats.
URGENT NEEDS:
S.A.N.D. Rescue is in DESPERATE need of foster homes!!! Our foster homes are our saviors. Without these selfless individuals, we would not be able to help the countless dogs and cats in need of rescue each day.
Please consider becoming a hero to a dog or cat that would otherwise be homeless or euthanized.
